FS: MOCAL thermostatic oil cooler adapter (GM LS engines)
Up for sale is one brand new, never installed Mocal thermostatic oil-cooler adapter for GM LS engines. I ended up installing a Lingenfelter non-thermostatic adapter so this one needs to find a home.

Features and Benefits
- -10 AN fittings for oil inlet/outlet.
- Provision for factory M12 x 1.5 sender.
- Built-in thermostat bypasses oil until 160° F and is fully open at approximately 180° F.
- Eliminates the need for an external thermostat, oil filter relocation adapter, and associated additional lines and fittings.
- Oil is bypassed directly at the block instead of flowing through the oil cooler lines first. This means your engine receives oil quicker during start-up.
- Includes spacer required for some oil pans.
- Direction of flow: Lower port is the return from the oil cooler.
- Dimensions: Approx 3.63" x 2.75" x 1.50" (main block body), 4.50" x 4.50" x 1.50" (including fittings)
Applications
- 1997 to present LS Series engines (Gen III/IV) including LS1/ LS6, LS2, LS3, LS7, L76/L92/L93, LQ4/LQ9, C5R and LSX
- IMPORTANT: Will NOT fit front-sump engines (GTO, Monaro, Commodore, etc) due to interference with the alternator.
