The Museum is moving forward with purchasing an additional 92 acres of land and they still need acre sponsors to help cover the $1.6m price tag! I know money is tight but just a small donation from everyone would be greatly appreciated and go a long way toward the eventual opening of the park. NCM is still looking for big corporate sponsors and evidence of a large supporting base for the Motorsports Park. The NCM Motorsports park will now be developed in four phases with the drag strip schedule to be built in phase II. So if your a drag racer, auto x'er, road racer of want to play on the skid pad this is a project we can all use and enjoy....

Will this be funded solely by donations for the Motorsports Park or are the regular NCM donations being used as well?

Good question. This is the answer I got from Roc.

" We are still working on sponsorships for major funding

· Undesignated donations to the NCM usually go into the general operating account

· Targeted donations are applied to the target item; bench donations to benches, bricks to bricks, motorsports donations to the motorsports and targeted donations are not moved to other projects"
