Anyone going? I'll be there, coming in Saturday night and staying at the luxurious Blakeslee Best Western...

Do you know if track day registration is accepted? Looks like the cut off for on line registration was May 8th.... Looks like the sun may be out for a little while on Sunday..

It was alot of fun, a bit foggy in the AM, but overall a good day.

Of course after first session I wasted one of my rear tires right down to the steel belts. Had to spend the rest of the day on street tires in the rear.

It was a fun day despite the Pocono micro-climate f*ing things around a little bit. Our little pack of Z06's definitely put up a good show.

I have the video on my computer, the waterproof housing didn't do much to tamp down wind noise but we've got some cool angles and laps in there, I'll try and get something posted shortly.

Hey Guys - I uploaded a few segments of video in HD to Vimeo. I've never messed with video before, so bear with me. Anyway, posted an album with three snippets, showing each of the three camera angles I tried:
- Upper right windshield
- Front right door just ahead of mirror
- Rear left fender

http://vimeo.com/album/1608849

Overall the camera (GoPro HD) works great but the audio sucks. At Lime Rock next week I'll try an interior angle and see if I can come up with any tricks to improve exterior audio.

BTW, our little pack of Z06's were the fastest cars out there that day for sure!

Nice videos! I guess that suction cup is rated for at least 160mph!

Were they hard to upload?

No, if i can do it it's pretty damn easy. I opened them up with whatever the movie editor is that comes with Windows 7. Chopped out a couple minutes of each vid, then opened a Vimeo account to upload. Other than the thinking time my computer needed to initially open those files in that program, whole thing was very quick and easy. Lime Rock tomorrow, more to come...
