Awesome weekend at Road Atlanta. Beautiful weather, good food and great people!

Bottom line: Awesome weekend at Road Atlanta. Beautiful weather, cars ran great, good food and great people. Corvettes were in force! We had a great time!
The weather was beautifully 70 degrees without a cloud in the sky. The paddock was covered with Corvettes, Porsches, Nissan GTR, and BMWs. From street cars to full-race, there was a full spectrum of awesomeness, and the goosebumps to prove it.
The event was run by NASA (www.nasa-se.com). They have classes for beginners to drive their regular street car, and they also have sessions for the more experienced drivers. If you are curious about track driving, NASA has a great program that pairs you up with instructors to help you every step of the way.
It was great to see a lot of advanced drivers this event. MTI Racing brought some Corvettes, the C5 Mafia was represented, Ed and Tom brought their cars, and there was also a host of new drivers that caught the racing bug this weekend.
MTI Racing would like to thank all the Corvette drivers, grid staff and NASA officials who visited MTI Racing's free lunch on Saturday and Sunday. It was really nice to meet everyone.
This was probably one of the most fun track weekends we've had in a long time. Could the weekend be any better? We would like to encourage more Corvette owners to come and experience the track. The social aspect is a lot of fun. Come on out next time!
Check out our Picture gallery from the event!
We'll see you all June 18, 19th at Road Atlanta!

Thanks to the MTI crew for the great grub. I nearly tossed my cookies running TTA on Sunday after consuming multiple hamburgers and hot dogs. I was also 2 seconds slower than my first session. Damn, I eat too much.

+1 Probably not a great idea to chow down prior to a session
