Default Has anyone used a LG Louver hood??

I'm looking for cooling options for my car and was wondering if the LG Three Louver world challenge hood works....or should I spend my money on something else.....

I used the LG single louvre hood on my C6Z06. It did help bring down on track temperatures quite a bit. According to LG these hoods were designed to create downforce. The extra cooling is an additional benefit. I did remove the rain pan and that helped even more.

The most cost effective way to bring down temps is to install a DeWitt's Direct Fit Aluminum radiator. It is a very nice piece and makes a big difference in the temps.

Quality is fine, fit was ok, took a little adjusting but not bad overall. Depending on your intake you may have to do a little triming on the louver on the inside but not a big deal. You can see this in the image I posted where the intake is. All in all I'm pleased with this hood.

Was the hood ready for paint or did you have to prep it...if so was the paint job showroom quality or track quality. And was your purchase for downforce or cooling?

If you paint as is it will be track quality job...... I preped and filled/smoothed a few spots for a show car quality. But that's just me

I bought for both down force and cooler running, not to mention the look factor
