Default Clutch Stop Follow up

I installed the ECS clutch stop on my 06-Z06. The install was very easy took about 15 minutes. Just driving around the street it feels great, less than half the travel of before the install. I am running a Exedy twin disc clutch and it engages way out on the pedal. This cuts the pedal travel and feels like it is going to be fine on the track and should help the slave and throwout bear life. It also allows me to move the seat back the a more comfortable position because I don't have to push the pedal all the way to the floor. I think anyone running a clutch that engages way out on the pedal will really like this add on. By the way even though you have to cut the small tab off of the pedal arm, the start switch still operates if you remove the clutch stop from the pedal arm. I actually used a 4" carriage bolt to replace the treaded stud they send with the stop. I can supply more info on install if needed. JD

I have one never installed but forgot what does the carriage bolt head contact when depressed? I think I was going to silicone a small plate to let it hit that?

It hits the flat part of the steel plate that the start switch in mounted on, just to the right of the 10MM nut that holds the foot rest. Works great! JD

JD, just to make sure I understand this.
If you have a clutch that " engages way out on the pedal " it will still " engage way out on the pedal " it will just have less travel to get there.

Correct ?

Thank you, Larry.

Yes that is correct. As I said, it felt really good on the street, I will test it on the track at the April 9th Chin event at Sebring. It shortens the over all throw on the bottom of the pedal travel. JD
