That would fit right into SU and the reason you build a ST1 car and not a SU car.
I can't even put it into words how sweet that would be, but even if it was given to me I have a feeling I wouldn't have the $$ to run her.

Heck, I just enjoyed going through the photos! Can't even imagine what it would be like to drive a beast like that!
I'm with L98, I don't think I could afford her if she was given to me.
Have a good one,
Mike

That current bid seems to be way, way too low. If it has 2 engines available as I read it .........they would be worth way more than that bid by themselves.
Makes me wonder what the consignor "really" wants for this awesome piece of American racing history. I would truly rather have this car than anything short of a Cobra Daytona Coupe or a GT40 Mark II or IV. Of course a C6R would be even better !! Combine this with one of the Sunray DX or Greenwood cars and you would never leave your garage !!

I was fortunate enough to talk with P&M with GM's help before I built the Beast. I considered buying one of their cars to avoid the headache of building one.
Ken hit the nail on the head. Believe it or not, the purchase price would be the cheapest part of owning this car. Maintaining it properly would require sponsorship money.

8 bidders...got to love it. probably collectors. It seems it would make little to no sense to actually run this car.
I thought I had read the carbon rotors were like $10k each and were replaced each race!!!
