Our C6 Racer is getting very close, at least in club racing trim.
Now just need to find the funds to actually get her on the track.
Prep 2 Tube frame with composite roof and the rest gutted stock C6.
T101 A Nascar 4 speed, 9" Nascar Floater rear end.
Brembo 4 piston calipers, Penske Shocks, Schwanke LS6

Good on you! I'd love to shed some serious weight on my car but its still too nice for me to gut it. Every so often I think about finding a sound 'junker' and building a real track car. I admire what you're doing. Let us know how it goes.

hey ; my club went over to see the roar before the rolex and we were surprised by not one vette participating. Would have loved to have seen your car there. Any idea why all the vettes are gone and camaros have sprouted up.

I think the Teddy Marsh/Whelen car will be back after Daytona.
I believe LG Motorsports needs some funded drivers. Its' just gotten to expensive to do without help.
LRPG (Leighton Reese) went to Camaro. I'm guessing that's what GM wants them in.
Sahlen Corvette's are either sold or up for sale, and they are now in Mazda's.
Georgian Bay Corvette has been on the sidelines for a couple years.
As soon as the car is actually track ready, I'll start shopping for some help and or funded drivers. In this O'bummer economy, I ain't holdin' my
breath.
