Default Best lap / sub harness mounting solution for corbeau seat rails?

Hi folks,

I'm going to be using the Corbeau A4 (it's a bottom mount seat) from my GN in my C6 along with Corbeau's seat rails and wondered what folks are using to mount their lap & anti-sub belt to the floor.

I've seen the brey-krause and hardbar mounts, but haven't seen a single solution that will work for a 5-point harness yet. What did you use?

Thanks,
Scott

I just bought two Corbeau TRS seats with the double locking sliders. I also bought the Hardbar 6 point lap mount bracket that hooks up to the back two seat bolts. I have seen others that were set up for a 5 point with just the eye hook in the center. I can't seem to find it right now but I know I have seen them.

I hope you like your seats. I just hope I can get mine to fit.

That's what I'm looking for-- if others have ideas or examples do tell.

I am still looking. I know I saw one because I wasn't sure if I was going 5 or 6 point myself. I will let you know if I find it

The piece I showed you for the crotch belt and the lap belt can be hooked up like this:

I have the A4 seats and double mount slides/brackets along with the HardBar belt mount and unfortunately the rear seat studs aren't long enough for the nut to go on........idea's....?

Is it relatively easy to to install longer studs?

You need to 'extend' the Stud. Harbar makes a stud extender - they are very nice but pricey and you probably need 4 of them (this is what I ended up doing). Or you can DIY it and create your own extenders, I remember someone posting about doing this a while back.

On the C4 the lap belt mounted to the stock seat belt locations. I mounted the substrap to the cross bar on the double locking seat rail which seems solid. If my nuts snap that cross rail, not sure I would want to survive.

Vetteworks/Hardbar lab belt bar provides anchors for a 6 pt belt set up.

The 2 inside eye bolts are for the sub belts and outside eye bolts anchor the lab belts. On OE seats you seat on the subs and weave them through the split (upper & lower portion) of the seat and anchor the belts to the eye bolts. The lap belts go around the outside of the seat clip-on the eyebolts. For a 5 pt set up, I would upgrade the single sub belt to a 6pt. Contact the belt manufacturer and buy just the 6pt sub belt. Otherwise you will need the 5 pt sub bar as well.
