Don’t miss the FIA GT races on Speed - Vettes, Lambos, Masers, GTRs, Ford Gts - good racing on good tracks.

I agree, very good racing. Watching on Speed will be nice. For those who don't mind watching on a computer, they have been streaming the races all season long via their website. You can go back and watch past races anytime you want:

I would love to have one track of that caliber in the US. Hopefully the F1 track in Austin happens, and we can get on it.
Why does Maserati get to run a car that is nothing like anything in their factory lineup?

I've wondered that also - the Mas they run looks like a DP car.

Its exactly like their road car bar the fender flares and spoiler...Also look up the Maserati MC12 Versione Corse which is the one off road version of the race car they had to build.

Thanks for the info, didn't even know the street version existed. Here are a couple links to pictures and articles. They are dated from a few years ago, so it looks like this car has been around for a long time:

Makes you wonder where the 12x GT1 based C6's are and where the 12x GT2 C6's are...

The Nissan GTR is using a V8 engine instead of the turbo V6. Otherwise the cars are pretty consistent with the road-going versions.

They've been running for the past couple of weeks! I came across them by accident and have been DVR'n them all. Great racing...especially now when there is very little to watch!

According to my direct tv search, the next airing will be 12/30 at 3 and 4am. So tonight! Then it won't be on until Tuesday. If you have direct tv, do a search for "FIA GT1" and it will come up. It only says "Auto Racing" on the guide, so yo have to read the description. They are also showing the touring cars.

I too found it by accident about that time in the morning when i came home from work. I set my DVR right away to catch any more.

The Masarati is basically a Ferrari Enzo with a different body.
