Default Recommendations for rain tire

I'm looking for recommendations for a tire to use on the track during those rainy events. Currently I'm using Hoosier R6's in the dry and Michelin PS2 non run flat in the wet. The car is a C6Z06 with stock wheel sizes, one set for dry and one set for rain. Should I stay with the PS2s or try something else?

I think BFG KDW-II are fabulous rain tires.
I actually run them on my street cars all year long.
(2001 Camaro SS, 2004 G35Coupe).

I know they are superb on an autocross course in the wet/rain.

I know. But I have two sets of stock sizes, when I looked at the prices for tires in stock sizes vs 18 all around it isn't that much different. So I stuck with them. I've heard the case for "it's easier to get scrubs in 18s" I've gone that route. People claim they only have 2 heat cycles on them and when the tires come in they're BLUE. How many sessions do you get on scrubs anyway? I'll stick to buying new. I've used the PS2s and they turn hard as a rock in no time. I guess it's the price we pay nobody said this is a cheap hobby. John, maybe if I buy rotors made in CHINA I can kept the cost down if the seller in the USA wouldn't jack the price sky high

Get real rain race tires. Hoosier or Goodyear. Much faster than any street tire.

the largest size that I found for the Hoosier wets is 275 35 18 and 305 30 18. Aren't the 305s a little small for the C6Z06 and wouldn't that combo cause an issue with engine drag light, Active handling etc...

you don't want/need big and wide for rains

and those 275 Hoosier's are physically VERY wide across the tread. when they delivered mine and I saw them sitting outside stacked up when I got home from work, i thought they had screwed the order up and sent 315s - they looked so big.

Next to the 275 A6, they are much much wider.

IMHO a square set of 275s would be plenty of rain tire for any C5/C6

So if I run a 275 35 18 on all four corners I won't have any computer issues ?
