Default How was PDA Grand Slam weekend?

Three course run this past weekend. Any times on the long course? Any neat cars show up?

John, I was there on Sunday for the long course. I only saw a few C6's, nothing that looked modded except for a clone C6R GT2. Meaning the ZR1 but it was on the trailer with a blown tranny. It was the same car that crashed at Watkins Glen. Also one C6Z06 that was there for the race.

Maybe it's my lack of experience but I don't notice a difference between my stock C6Z06 shocks and the custom valved Bilstein's that I just got from Randy at DRM. The stock shocks handled that section by the pit wall better than the Bilsteins. I haven't spoke to Randy about it yet. I timed a modded C6Z06 that was in the race. His starting position was third so he had a clear field. First time was a 1.38, second was a 1.37 and third was a 1.32. I stopped after the third time.

I would think a modded C6-Z would be faster than 1:32

thanks for the links Tom

I see this

The staff of the NASA Northeast Region wants to thank all of our NASA members

In spite of these poor economic times you were able to support our program of racing and HPDE events.
I know if I could get my car together I would not be running it as much as I use to by a long shot. Sad times in this economy.
