Yeah that poor guy never stood a chance. He went from a nice and cool garage (probably been in there since Roebling) to 199 degree/150mph track day.
Wonder if inhaling roasted rat fumes had anything to do with your sickness??
**note to self - do not leave car at Mark's house anymore**

Man you SE TTA guys think of everything, trained mice to chew away extra weight from harnesses. I bet you taught them to disconnect a coil-pack or two when your on the dyno too!
Now we'll have to call up Dr. Dolittle for Nationals to make sure your not getting extra "help".

You need a cat.
This subject came up recently when I was preparing my Mustang that has sat on the trailer since December. I found a decent size birds nest behind the grill and a dirt dobber condo on the engine.
I use to have rats eat the insulation off the wiring in my junkers that were kept in the woods. I commented I was lucky so far they had not got ahold to my running cars.
I had a bigun eat a hole in my house ac duct and died on top of it so we could enjoy the smells while I searched for the culprit. Had to remove all the shrouding over the ducts to find him. I have hardware cloth buried all around that system now.
