why? i dont want a passive hippie type leading corvette racing. do you? what wrong with a little smack talking? it gets the pot stirred up a bit in the series and it forces you that much more to work hard and back it up. there should be more of it.

Humble is not a word that Doug is familiar with.

imo im not to worried about the ferraris. wet toilet paper is more durable than those ponies from maranello. the vettes need to make short work of the beamers so the flying lozer porsche dont get a big lead and they have to waste tires playing catch up to them. i definatly think the vettes will be on the podium.again, my .02 cents

You are obviously un-aware of the Risi F430GT endurance race record over the past 3 years.

2008 Le Mans - won

2008 Petit Le Mans - won

2009 Sebring - won

2009 Le Mans - won

2009 Petit Le Mans - won

2010 Sebring - won

The mech failure experienced at this year's Le Mans was an exception to their proven durability

The Ferrari's are the car to beat. Even Porsche was shocked with winning. Then we have the BMWs from the Rahal shops.

BTW - Let's not talk about podium finishes until the cars can actually finish a race. In order to be on the podium you have to finish the complete race.

LMAO... sorry, but when you said "back up the swagger" I couldn't help but think the Corvette team should have remade the "Swagger Wagon" video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ql-N3F1FhW4

And yes, after that smug interview, the Vette team better show us something today.

That is one of the all time great ads. I never get tired of it. Too bad we don't get Chevy ads like that.

Wait. We did. Or we almost did.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtxUBXBl_E4

The ad was done by Campbell-Ewald then GM choked on it. Something about encouraging inappropriate behavior. Yea Right.

Should have just gone to the local Chevy dealer and bought one off the lot to race, at least it would have made it more than a few laps.

I agree, very disappointing start to this race. Apparently a power plug on the electronic fuel point came unattached.. time for a team reset

Default Its not Bad Luck

Running over your own air hose is not bad luck, it's not paying attention !!

Sad to see the continuous comedy.
