What video editor are you using?
Just want the basics for audio mixing and video titles.
I need HD modes to use with TraqStudio HD on a PC Platform.

I have used MovieShaker, Sony Win DVD, and currently using Pinnacle Studio 14.
The latter is my favorite, gives me the most flexibility for mixing playback levels, tracks, etc.
Have fun!

I don't know much about video editing but this is what a friend who has done PBS documentaries sent me. He is presently editing footage for a short youtube video of a friend's recently completed Factory Five Shelby Daytona Coupe.
"I will likely use my Premier Elements which is a 5 year old version. On the last one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDfhFF4FV4M I used the editor that comes with canon cameras. You can also use moviemaker that comes with XP, vista and 7. All will do some level of audio and titles.
Premier Elements can do just about everything. Projects should be kept smaller than 10 minutes and ideally should be 3-5 min in length.
For the Shelby Daytona Cobra I am aiming at 60-90 seconds.
Don't know what HD modes refers to. You can't do HD with any of the above, but I believe a current version of premier elements can do HD.
I am not sure what formats the HD files are saved as. I am used to AVI which is very large. HD content is 5 times larger than 640x480 video.
On the last paid HD project I worked on I believe it was about 5 gigs per minute. "

I like Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD:

It does simple to complex. Not hard to use, capable of HD, 5.1 sound and multi-camera picture-in-picture. I use a rear facing camera, then combine it to look like a rear view mirror.
I then use TrackVision to create a graphic overlay displays for
the track and car data from my Race-Technology data logger.

Here is an old SD video I have on YouTube:

I lost my HD stuff in a hard drive crash Now I am shopping for a network RAID backup drive...
