Trailer Question
I am planning to purchase a Featherlite 3110 car trailer and am trying to get an idea of what it is worth. It is an all aluminum car trailer with an independant suspension. I have towed with this before and it is a real nice trailer. I am purchasing it from my brother so i want to pay him a fair price. Any ideas of what this is worth? it is a 2005 in good condition.

A little more info on trailer and accssories included would get you a closer approximation of value. Capacity of axles, dual brakes, tire rack, age and condition of tires, tool box, type of ramps, removable fender ?? All of these items have a bearing on worth. Base 18' Featherlite can run $5-6K - a loaded one can run $8-9K new. If it is in really good condition, it could bring 80% or so of the new price. I would research new prices based on accessories / features included and make an offer according to condition.

I have the Featherlite 3110, congratulations on your choice. I paid $5,500 in early 2009 for mine and I've seen used ones for sale at around $4,000 to $4,500 asking prices.
Mousecatcher,
It has Dexter Torqueflex axles that allow each wheel to operate independently.

Going by the above and if you really like him I think 3800 is fair after 5 years.

Thanks guys. I have a 2007 Z. In the past I have trailered a steel car trailer, this aluminum trailer is really awesome. On bumpy roads it does not move around at all.
