Default 95 mph. Porsche autocross event. 6/27/10

This was by far the fastest autocross track I've driven.

Nice run! Where was that run?

Fastest I've ever run was out at Mineral Wells, clicked off 102 according to the HUD. Several runs out there get up into the 80-90 range; woo hoo!

Can't wait until our next event on the 17th!

Have a good one,
Mike

You missed the Divisional at El Toro for that... Looks like it was a blast.

When I lived in albuquerque I went to play with the SCCA one day, and they left the course a little long. Was bouncing off the revlimiter a bit in 3rd.

Great video - nice run ! I really love it when an AutoX course is long enough to let a Vette stretch it's legs. Too many times they are set up for Lotus size cars with short very twisty designs.

Looks like Fontana, I ran there a number of times in 03 and 04 but none of the courses were as fast and when the Vette guys setup the courses at the stadium in San Diego.

Those were much faster, even in my little turbo Matrix I was well into 3rd gear on the good layouts, 5 spd, 3rd was not a slow gear

No, that's the Pomona Fairplex. That is the area used for Police pursuit training.

Man I wish we had a lot somewhere within 2 hours of us here in Nor Cal that is that big. We used to have a top of 3rd course down in Atwater before they took the big lot away.

Nice run, and the camera works well too.

Fej
