car don't look that bad, I mean cockpit seems intact.

I don't think it need to look bad to kill you, but also keep in mind the guy was 67 years old, it takes a lot more to kill a 30 yr old than a 67 year old.

Hell he could have had an heart attack for all we know.

Hey, I resemble that remark!

I had a good friend, Jim Fitzgerald, that we think had a hear attack on the back stretch at a Trans-Am Miami street race. He slapped the wall a couple of times and then slid into the wall at the last turn sideways narrowing the car by about a foot breaking his neck but there was no blood loss. He radioed in he was not feeling good.

Sad day for motor sports.
