Which C4 water pump ......
In the past I have had great success with the advise from CF.
I use my 94 Corvette mainly for road use and some track days.
I have had some failures in the past like the optispark and you guys told me to try the Dynaspar vs the OEM. It worked great.
The power steering pump went down and you told me to go get a TurnOne pump which has been magnificent.
Well this time the problem is with the water pump.
I have been loosing water / antifreeze for a couple of days and did not find a visible leak.
The other night I warmed the vette and got to see some steam going out from the front of the water pump.
I guess that water is going out as steam until the water level is really low but it is not leaking from the weep hole!
I have a very interesting Track day coming on June 20, so I need to solve the problem ASAP, but I need your suggestions.
Which pump? Is there something better than OEM that can handle the pressures of a Track day?
I would like to keep a mechanical pump instead of the electric pumps, but if that is better than mechanical I will give it a try.
Again , thanks for the advise !

I have an electric water pump on mine right now
HD 55gpm
Great for autocrossing, but I was having heat issues at the track.
I'm going back to a mechanical one, which puts out over 100gpm near redline
I'm goint to put a weep line on it so it doesn't kill the opti when it goes

I vote stick with a stock pump. They're cheap and effective. I agree with Brian, they cool better than the electrics on the track, too.
Just keep an eye on it. They do leak after awhile. Although I have never had mine leak in 100k miles...

I've been running a stock replacement for a couple of years now.
