I'm not sure if they're paving or just patching but, we (SCCA) did recertify the track and will have 3 Time Trials/PDX events there this year.

Glad to see Hooked is also going to be there.
Now if the HMSA Historics would just come back.......

The end of the Sunset Straight and transition area from the newer track to the old track near the Horseshoe are being completely re-done

Repairs to the track are complete for now. The investors have spent a day at ThunderHill getting a look at how nice a track can be. And ThunderHill's CEO came to RFR to inspect the track and suggest repairs.
From our May newsletter:
If you take a leisurely lap around Course C, you’ll find five places where repairs have taken place. At the
entrance to Turn Two (the braking zone after the esses and before the 180 at the north end) the left half of the track surface has been replaced to remove two serious bumps that were especially hazardous to
motorcyclists attempting an inside move under braking. After climbing Hoot-n-Holler, if you turn left to
proceed around “The Peanut,” a long pavement seam that was opening up has been cut out and repaved. At
the end of the Sunset Straight, the entire braking zone has been removed and repaved. At Turn 15A, the
major intersection where many configurations meet to head for the Horseshoe, the eastern approach has been
widened with new pavement and new rumble strip (this improves a course configuration we often use for our
Track Days – up Hoot-n-Holler, across the top of the ridge, then plunging down through the intersection and
on to the Horseshoe). And finally, on the short chute leading to Turn 23, the final turn before the Front
Straight, three serious bumps on the left side of the track have been cut out and repaved.
