Default Hoosier tires

Has anyone tried a Hoosier 315/30/18 tire on a factory front wheel?
Their catalog recommends a wider wheel but will it mount and is the performance gain measurable?

Are you referring to the 10.5 or 9.5? Fits fine on 10.5 but not on 9.5.

I don't know about the 18's but we put 315/35/17 on the front 9.5" wheels on my dad's 90 ZR1 all the time. It does help that car alot with the nose being heavier than a standard C4. It doesn't push as much as with 275s or 295s. Dad has been running 315s in front and 335s in the rear. I've heard some guys like it while others don't. The only why to see if you do like them is to try them out.

Factory 18" x 9.5"
I realize the catalog recommends a wider wheel but was interested if anyone has tried it.
