I'm on my cell so it's hard to read, but a San Francisco Region SCCA member a couple years ago created an Electric powered formula car and also applied it to a DSR type car. The plan was to mass produce them, sell them, and create a new class or race series for them. I think the cars were in the 1100lbs range and had something like 150-200 hp? Really not sure what ever happened to them..

Try getting a paddock outlet to plug in your toter-home or trailer at one of these events!
