just traded my 05 ext. cab for an 05 crew cab with higher mileage and was offered fidelity warranty services. any of you have experience with other reputable powertrain warranty companies? any diesel-specific companies?

personally I think they all suck if not OEM never heard a good word. I have Geico and they are fair. I think my friend had Fedelity and when they saw a polw on the the truck they would not pay for an engine related problem which had ZERO to do with the diesel injection pump pump. Even bofore they came to see the truck they wanted to ship a used pump form TX to NY. My mechanic said what if the pump is bad and I do all the labor? He refused to install it. It never got that far anyway. They will use any excuse to walk from anything major. Find a truck forum for your brand and ask there for more response.

I bought mine on my duramax thru Lexus after the fact because I knew someone there....havent had to use it, but its nice to know its there.
