Default Rotor retainer clips

Any reason to replace rotor retainer clips when changing rotors?

Shop manual says remove a discard, nothing about put on new ones.

I am assuming not.

No. One of the first things to throw away... weight reduction. ;-)

In Fact, many custom wheels are not machined to go over them and they cause the wheel to not seat square on the rotor. Take them off and throw away. JD

Throw them away. If your wheel stays on, the rotor will stay on too!
