Default GRM UTCC needs your votes

http://www.cardomain.com/MakeModel/all/all/27/ Coming to to an end before you know it. I even signed up (since I'm close), although a stock Z06 on scrub tires isn't a recipe for domination!

Anyway, cheer on your favorites. If I happen to get chosen, I'll be on here begging to borrow some parts for the car (need a splitter, wheels hood, maybe a wing )

No but your real weapon is behind the wheel

I applied (no chance of winning) but it would just be fun to be in the show. I've got a sticker set of 295 A6's (I can't run this year in TTA) sitting in the basement in case they call.

I know Danny has done it several times before, how is the traffic in the sessions? Can you get a clean lap(s)?

Am I missing something? Searched Cardomain for utcc and only one page of 18 showing up.

Ed

Found the problem, should search on grm utcc. There are 40 cars, still less than I expected.

You did, but if people scroll to page 2 they will see your entry.

David,

Do I have to be a member on CarDomain to vote for you?

yes, I think you have to join. However, I don't think I've gotten any SPAM or junk from them, so it's a decent site.

Yeah I have been a member for awhile and the only e-mails I get are to remind me I still have an account when I dont log in after a while.

I've never run new/current Hoosiers. I buy scrubs, and the only time I've timed anything it's been 2:04's or so. I don't have the money for new tires, so I'll likely be sticking to the 4 year old GAC tires I can get for nearly free. They are 1.5" narrower than what most guys run, but I put them to pretty good use.

If I get into the UTCC, I'm going to attempt to fabricate a low-buck splitter for the car. My goal is to show what you can do on nearly free parts!

If you are doing 04's on 4 yr old GAC's, there's a sub 2 in good air on fresh A6s.

Dave - what sizes are you running? I can prob help you out with some scrub A's with low time on them...being 10-15mins down the street from you can save you some shipping costs too.

I run anything around 275-295 front, 295-315 rear...18's. I'm hoping to track down some used CCW's some time this year, but as it is now I'm sticking to C5 rims.

Oh lordy I hope that "Redrum Camaro" wins (top of page 2 in David's link). As stated numberous times in the page, his Camaro is SICK!

Wow that would be a smack in the face to ricers everywhere when it gets spanked by a bunch of Spec Miatas in the GRM UTCC

Did I mention that it's SICK!

Farmer, perhaps if you draped trashy women all over your 'vette you'd get more votes.

What constitutes a vote. I found the rating gizmo and rated both catagories with five stars. Is that all I need to do?

You did it correctly.

You rate the car on the site for an end result of a vote for that paricular car.
