Default Charlotte Motor Speedway on April 19th

Who all is attending the NASA-SE event at Charlotte Motor Speedway (previously Lowe's Motor Speeday) next Monday, April 19th?

I'll be there running my C5Z06 in TTA class in Time Trials.

I know David Farmer is going to drop by.

Anyone else?

Stop by and say hello. Torch Red 03 Z06, #01 or #101 on the side, couple of stickers for a few additional horsepower; red F250 is my tow vehicle with a black Kaufmann open trailer.

I'll be there in my 92 TTB.
I told my boss before Christmas last year I'd be at this event!

Do you plan on doing any other NASA SE events this year?

I'll be there, although if you saw my car right now you'd say no way

Lowes is a fun Roval, I wish I could actually participate this time around. I did my first 2 or 3 events ever (20 years ago) at CMS.

Cool. You guys be sure to look me up. There will also be a yellow 03 C5Z06 with me. And a buddy with a G35 (not your typical Japanese Luxury Car I promise you) and another buddy with a Spec e30.

Scott,

I am on the fence about CMP on May 1-2. I will probably do it, but I just did 5 events in 6 weeks and CMS will make it 6 in 8. For someone with active teenagers, that is a lot for me.

If I can make it to a few more NASA events this year, I will. AV and THSCC events come first though -- after gymnastics, band concerts, dance, etc, etc, etc.

David,

You can always take my car for a drive. After all, you set it up and I owe Easter Weekends results to your alignment and my heavy right foot!

Robert Boyett will be running his GTO in TTA as well.

I should be getting in sunday afternoon to unload, etc

It's a shame you guys will miss sperkins' tire collection, it's a sight to behold. I'll actually have to bring some spares with me now

I have a hunch Charles will have some fresh ho-ho's for his FRC for CMP, he wasn't thrilled with his finishing position last time.

Now if we can just drag jason out there, we could have 5 in specC5Z.

The A's really get out of their element with the heat, so it'll be slideways in may We'll be 1.5 sec off Feb times

See, that is the kicker. I can't compete with you -SE guys. I am still running a full interior and on NT01s. Guess I will just fill out the back of the pack, it's all in good fun anyway. Hopefully I will learn something following you guys.

As for more SpecC5Zs, there are two other C5Zs that run in THSCC Time Trials besides me. We have all been eyeing the NASA events for a while. I am pretty certain both of those guys will be at CMP. I just do not love that track enough to want to do too many events there each year.

I would enjoy it more without the sand in the paddock, and the sand on the track

I will be on 5,423 heat cycle Hoosier A6s at CMS, and stock sway bars (I think they will work better in the bumpy infield than the T1's I ran last year).

We would welcome any more SpecC5Z guys, we have a fun bunch of characters, NASA weekends are a blast. It's a great get-away from the rat race of life.

No doubt.

And if you ever want to look for more TT or lapping events, check out our THSCC and AV events at VIR and CMP.

That's good to hear since I forgot to give him a spare tire to the trailer.
