Default C5 "batwing" pan on LS3

Will this oil pan fit a C6 with an LS3?

Do you think if I run one of these with an Accusump I'd be safe for HPDEs as far as oiling issues go? No slicks or suspension work.

I dont think that a batwing pan will go on a LS3 with stock exhaust/catalysts etc. it will bolt to a LS3 though. With headers it probably would......

We have a LS3 car around these parts that has not "blown-up" yet with the stock pan. Car has correctly plumbed accusump and LS7 oil cooler with a shimmed and ported pump to boost pressures and so far has survived the last 2.5 years.

We justed fitted a "trick" crank scraper to it recently to additionally help keep the oil in the pan..

On the engine...yes

In the car......probably not with the stock exhaust and catalysts, otherwise GM would not have made a custom LS3 only "batwing" and would have just used C5 pieces/parts.

Phoenix would probably know for sure....

The LS3 car down here has been surving though spinning to 7k with slicks.....and the STOCK oil pan.

Is this a shimmed and ported oil pump?
Is this trick crank scraper a one off custom or will it be available to purchase? Where can I find out how to correctly plumb an Accusump?
Is it difficult to add an LS7 oil cooler? I have a Z51 optioned coupe. Is the oil cooler it comes with inadequate?
Sorry for all the questions!
If this batwing pan is really worthwhile I would consider adding headers now. I wonder if hi-flow cats would be in the way. I bet someone has already done this or tried.

I've put a batwing pan on a LS6 that was transplanted into a C6 and the clearance between the oil pan and the cradle is less than 1/16". We have Pfadt motor and tranny mounts in the car so I think it will be fine but if you are using stock motor mounts there's no way the C5 batwing will work, the engine will move too much and hit the cradle.
If you install the batwing pan, headers, and Pfadt (or solid) motor mounts it should work (but be very tight).
As long as you stay on street tires you should be fine. It's when you put R-compounds on (over 1.2 g constant) that you will have your problems.
