"Mobil 1 The Grid" Features GT2 Corvette
taped it last night to catch insight in the F1 season, but realized there is an IRL race tomorrow (on Versus), and they also had a look at team Corvette testing a Sebring recently.
IRL actually looks interesting, running on a new circuit, but very few people will see it on Versus. F1 will be awesome though............

It was a neat segment, however I couldn't help thinking about two things while watching.
1) The screw job given to Riley and LGM.
2) The disgraceful actions at Laguna Seca last year (regardless who was at fault, Corvette was not running for points and with a one-off car had nothing to prove, so that level of ... aggresiveness ... was beyond reasonable).
I thought so too. So much for that theory!

The qualifying session was like watching paint dry (in the desert) and the race ditto. They (=FIA/teams/Bernie) just never seem to be able to leave well enough alone. Sigh.
On the other hand, both Loti made it through the entire race. That's impressive.
Did you see this? Really weird, I must say:

Safety Car
I guess there is some sense to it once you get past the weirdness of it at first glance. I must admit I love seeing the old BRG+yellow colors on the cars.
edit: a friend of mine who is a Lotus owner just told me "Cosworth will also be tweaking engines for Lotus' road cars in the near future, so seeing this pair join up for a racing effort isn't surprising."

I only DVR the Grid, I haven't seen it aired in some time, I just checked my auto sports programing guide,DTV, and I didn't see it. I'll check the SPD website. I guess since It hadn't been recored in a long time I figured it was either cancelled or on another network that had be cancelled either way you guys pointed me in the right direction.
