Looks pretty cool. Got the ZR1 body kit, lots of carbon fiber, carbon brakes and suspension and some new tires from michelin for the Z06. While this is limited edition, you can order the brakes, suspension, carbon, and body kit for a regular Z06.
Finally something better than a set of stickers and emblems.

here's how this is going to play out for track people:
1. buy Z06 carbon
2. try to find track tires in OEM wheel sizes -oops
3. sell wheels to Z06/GS owner, buy Z06 or aftermarket 18" wheels
4. price pads and replacement rotors -oops
5. sell brakes to a GS/Z06 owner, buy aftermarket stoptech/brembo setup with iron rotors
6. End up with some carbon fiber parts, fancy paint job and street-friendly shocks for $15-20k premium

we're yet to have someone here give us a good evaluation on how well those shocks work on the track compared to stock Z06 or common aftermarket setups. who knows...

Each time I see one of these new "super" vettes, I keep saying...why couldn't they just put the bigger engines in, and the ability of putting wider rubber on, the C5? That would be the perfect track car!

It's awesome looking. I like the wheels and the color. How do those carbon brakes hold up on the track? Does anyone have experience with them?

CCB's do not dust at all. I don't believe anyone makes a hotter pad for the ZR1 brakes yet... LG is working on it: search "ZR1 brakes" in the C6Z06 forum.

But I don't know how the 430 pads compare with the ZR1 pads...

better comparison would be Porsche PCCB brakes, I think those are made by Brembo as well.

I drove a pre-release ZR1 at VIR, and it felt heavy and "soft",especially under braking. It was not an upgrade (in track performance) over the Z06. This is my opinion based on my brief time in the car.
