Did they ever come out with that for the ZF6?

Reverse is on the opposite direction.

Get that shorter shift and less vibration, never miss another shift. And no you don't need all that vibration from the aftermarket "short shifters".
We sell it with many options right here on our website. Priced from $229 Come and get that smooth short shift you know you want!
Get it here http://www.racespecialtydesigns.com/...0&bestseller=Y

PM me for Info

Nothing negative, but in road racing tall, longer throw, shifters are preferable. Much smoother, easier to shift, easier on transmission, and less chance of grinding gears as well as missed shifts.

I took my short shifter off to replace with a normal length and a duban shift handle for that exact reason.

I like the crisp precision feel of an aftermarket shifter, but the throw length is awful. I modified mine to raise the **** up a little over an inch for a perfect feel.

A good aftermarket shifter is a wonderful thing.

That said...

"Short-shifters are the devil's spawn" - Don Keefhardt, sometime in the 1980's, repeated regularly up to this very moment.

More engines are grenaded, transmissions turned into scrambled eggs, etc etc etc. by short-shift kits than nearly any other cause.

I am very willing to be the "skunk in the room" on this subject.

I agree with the above. I think the marketing angle should be changed for this one. More cool factor then for racing.

I have run other short shifters but I don't mind the stock one for road course work, no issues with it, and the throws aren't bad.

If you all took my car for a ride I bet you would be have no clue I still use a factory shifter. What I did was cut the expanded part of the top off and weld it directly to the shifter. Super solid and actually feels as good as any aftermarket shifter I have ever used. Ideally, I like the shifter right next to the steering wheel, but that is for race car only. On a street car that just looks funny and gets in the way of the radio, etc.

I have the Hurst on my C4 and I love it. The throw is not that short and it feels nice shifting. I prefer it over the stock one but thats just me.

I dont see how a short throw shifter could blow an engine or be bad in road racing? I dont see how it effects getting the transmission in gear.

In drag racing, where only two or three upshifts are done it may be ok, but in any other situation shortening the shifter is a bad idea. I bet I can actually shift a transmission as fast as any short shifter with a standard one. Another thing to keep in mind is that a short handle makes it much harder to shift. It's just not comfortable (drag racing aside). There is also always the possibility that on synchro transmissions too fast a shift will over ride the synchros.

They used to make one but is now discontinued. Got one on GS-023. You can buy 2" diameter ones that do not say "Hurst" on them with the C4 pattern. C4 shifter has also been discontinued. Hust is by far the best IMHO.
