Just what the title says.
I am located in the Bay Area, CA

If they have a shipment coming in they probably would be willing to deal. You can get great deals from dealers wanting to put a load together for a new shipment. Once they have the load together they're much less likely to deal. Call the plant in TX and find out who near you is getting ready to put a load together and contact them to see if they'll give you a discount if you buy one out of their new load.
Good luck.

I took TedDBere's advice and call the supplier and found dealers in a 200 mile radius. The local dealer I was working with wasn't going to have any in stock for 4 to 6 weeks
I found a new 2009 model in stock only 3.5 hours away from me
BTW - the 2010 models are about $500 to $600 more

What are the 2010 kwik-load trailers retailing for now? I paid about $3000 for mine 5 years ago with a wind farring and a spare tire.

The 2010 base model, at least in our neck of the woods, are running 4500.00.

I gave about $3800 for mine and spent about $600 on the tire rack. $4500 for a new one today does not seem unreasonable at all. Highly recommended and I would stick with an 18' unit. The 20 is a bit too long I think. I'm going to sell mine in November but that does not help anyone today.
