Default Are GM wheel hubs interchangable?

Looks like they all have the same 3 bolt flange. The splines may be different? Could one of these be more durable for racing?

The truck bearings have 6 lug flanges so you would have to install truck wheels to use them. The rendevous bearing may not be as strong as the Vette bearing.

Yes SKF looks like the trouble free way to go. It looks like the 6 lug truck hubs would be slightly stronger, but obviously 6 lugs will bring their own problems.

While i was looking today i noticed the ford explorer hub looks as if it would fit as well. Now this is probably too much to hope but these hubs must be strong like ox. Some new axle-shafts might be a good upgrade to support future power as well.

Too much of a hodge podge?

Edit: I figure these will cost the same as SKF hubs said and done.

I'd be curious about the half-ton truck bearings, but it's the flange that the worrisome part though correct?

I'll trust the OEM of the ZR1 bearings (SKF) first before I bending over backwards trying to find something cheaper that will work.

Plus, the price is right given that the old stock bearings would wear out after a few (lateral) encounters with really sticky rubber.

I'd look into the CTS-V hub, it may be the same as the ZR-1, but I recall GM saying that's what they put in the prototype Koni Camaro they built.
