Good morning everyone... Following is some info about our tow hooks and eyes September 2009......

Joe,
I installed a set of your hooks and they are great. I used the front screw in unit.
I know of several people who have wanted to get a set, but can't find them on your website. You should post some pics on your website and show how much they cost, and how to order them, etc.
If you want to use these pics feel free.
Keith

Trickiest part was to get the bolts and washers down the closed frame tube (about a foot of so) and hold them there while I threaded the bolt up into them. I duct taped a ratchet into the open end of a 2 1/2 foot long pipe and duct taped a nut and washer into the socket. fed it down the frame tube untill it was above the hole and threaded the bolt into it. As soon as it was threaded in, I yanked the socket and ratchet off (was just barely enough clearence) and then replaced the ratchet and socket with an open ended wrench and then tightened it up. The reason I started with the socket is it held the nut and washer securely. Then had to switch to the open end wrench because there would not have been enough clearence to remove the socket once the bolt went up into it.
Here is a pic of my long arm ratchet /wrench contraption. Repeat with second bolt, and then pop the nose back on.

and the bolt and washer taped to it.

Use just enough tape to hold the bolt and washer, and not so much that you can't pry it loose.

Joe, Do you have pointers to longer eyelet bolts or wider eye ones?
My local track aren't very careful when towing and use a monstrous hook

I finally got my front hook installed.
- I tried to use a ratchet wrench inside the bumper until I realized that it would be too high to lift off the bolt - and then it would only click when I tried to unscrew
Open wrench is the way to go for install
