Default CCW's Turning Blue

I have a set of CCW 14's in black anodized that I use for track duty.

This past season they have all turned bue, almost a greenish blue! I don't know whats doing it, heat?

Anyone else have this happen, and if so, how do you fix it?

Give John or Chip a call. My clear/plain finish looks as good as the day I got them.

Just got off the phone with them and they said its not uncommon to see the anodizing wearing off after a few years due to the sun and cleaning agents.

They said I can send them back to CCW or just look for a local powdercoating shop.

That's very common with black anodizing. Black anodized calipers turn gold from the heat.

My black anodized CCW centers and Wilwood calipers change to a slight purple tint. More visible in direct sun. Standard procedure.
