Wow I did not expect it to fly up that high. And the car just kept on going!

I have seen deer at Road America, Blackhawk, BIR, and other tracks in the past few years.

Towards the end of last season a street BMW M3 bought a deer on the main straight at Summit Point. It took out the front quarter, grill and hood. There is an apple orchard about 100 yards off the end of the track so it is not an unusual situation to be yellow or red flagged due to the wildlife.

How high they go depends on the angle of the hit. I hit one on the highway at 65 mph with my 86 Corvette. It flopped down on the hood, rode up over the windshield and flew high enough that the driver in the Vette behind me was looking up at it through his glass T Top.

I double looked that too. They have a different breed down there, then around the SD coyote. That is one rounded head. My guess would be a male, but wouldn't double check it maybe hard at this point

when we bird/deer hunt, the moto is.....if it doesn't have a collar....shoot. Can't believe how many coy-dogs I used to come across pheasant/quail hunting in Illinois/Wisc that I thought were the farmers dog...until they turned around to look at me.

Rule of thumb, don't shoot the farmers dog, don't shoot a ranchers cow, and the daughters are off limits. At my place that I hunt now, they would be mad if we didn't do everything possible to hit a coyote.

I have them by my house here in MN. I like them, they keep the small furry animal population way down. I don't have any problems with rabbits eatting my garden

Coyote. There's an older thread (pretty recent) floating around on the story of this somewhere.
