Wtb. Trans cooler for 06 a6 z51
Looking for new or used trans cooler for my 06 a6 z51. I do not know what this consists of or if there is a diy on this forum. Need this for hpde's. Any advice i live in roanoke va.

LG sells the mechanical pinion driven ones. They are real nice but $ though. You could probably save some money by buying the diff cover, hex drive and adapter from LG, If they will sell them separate, then buy the pump straight from Raceline. Maybe not though. I don't know how much LG marks them up from raceline.

Ah ok. You have an automatic. I missed that. The answer is yes. You can use an additional cooler after the stock cooler or just bypass the stock one and plumb another one. I just did this on my truck. The bottom line out of your rad should be the return to the trans. Easiest, cheapest way is to cut that hard line that returns to the trans, buy this little guy to roll a bead on the lines...
