Default Michelin Cup Tire Track Pressure

I am running 345/30/18 & 295/30/18 Cup tires for HPDEs.
What is a good cold pressure to start with that others have had good luck with. I have been starting out at 30 psig.

I just started running MPSCs on my C6Z and I found that starting at 28 front and 27 rear was pretty good.

They love negative camber. You'll save a lot of time finding the best setup if you buy a good probe pyrometer.

How much negative camber are you running?
I have -1.4 front -1 rear

Do you drive it on the street? How is the tire ware?

Cold pressure depends on track temp and how hard you drive.
You want to get to 36 psi max HOT. They get very greasy over that.

I've only driven about 500 street miles and 2 light track days on them so far. The wear so far is even and minimal. -1.6 rear will probaby work for dual use if you drive agressively on the street; but, -2.5 is likely too much on the front for sane street use.

I was told and have been shooting for 35-36 hot. Usually I start the day around 29 psi and depending on track temp, track, how frequent the sessions are, end up bleeding a couple PSI off the fronts.

I've been running -1.5 front and rear this year and am seeing some really uneven wear on the outsides (I only use these tires for track days). I've dialed the fronts up to -2.5 for NJMP next week to try and fix that.

Default MPSC Care and Feeding

This brochure has some great info.

Using a probe pyrometer to check temps across the tire and adjusting alignment and pressures until the temp is even across each tire will help prevent uneven wear. These tires are too expensive to just watch the wear patterns.

C6RAPTOR and others...

Do you have rubbing or active handling issues with the 345/295 combo you are running with the MSCs?

I am running stock C6Z sizes with Hoosier R6s and I am not entirely happy with them. How do people like the MSCs?

Thanks in advance.
