New Track Facility Coming to Southern Arizona
I went today with a couple friends to checkout progress on the new Inde Motorsports Ranch racing facility in southern Arizona. The complex under development is about 5 miles north of Willcox, Arizona (not far from Tucson). The facility will consist of an approximate 2.75 road course, skid pad, drag strip, observation lounge, private garages, clubhouse, kart course, RV park, air strip, amongst other amenities. Final grading should be complete on the road course in a matter of days with paving to commence soon thereafter.
It looks to be a challenging course with a range of speeds, elevation changes and some negative camber curves. There should be amble opportunities for some seriously high speeds. The course can be bifurcated into two separate courses with numerous configurations possible. They have a lot of work remaining but they’re making progress rapidly.
We hope to help with some pre-opening testing there while they’re completing safety improvements and run-outs. They look for a grand opening of the road course some time in November (with a date to be announced). Needless to say we’re excited about a new road racing facility in our back yard.
Further information can be found at: http://www.indemotorsports.com/
Here are a few photos of the construction now underway:

Maybe you can bring me as a guest one day
Hope they get some serious elevation changes!

Well, that is pretty cool. Willcox is a bit out of the way but hopefully it will be viable. Can't you get any land in the Casa Grande/Eloy/Coolidge area? Or are the prices just too high?
Wow, those initiation fees are crazy. I'm glad I got into Motorsport Ranch Cresson when I did. Even now it is a bargain compared to this.

It's cool that they are building another track in AZ but WTF is in Wilcox that would warrent a 60k membership fee and 300 a month?
Whatever happened to Buckey motorsports complex?

I hope that dragstrip isn't going into the western direction. If so it will be blinding in the late afternoon like Infinion. At least the dragstrip in Tucson runs South to North.
The strip in Tucson is a slick dude too. It is the only track were I have seen a JR. dragster spin tire on the track and crash!
