Default Who's going to Watkins Glen Trackmasters Aug31, Sept 1st ???

Who is going?? I am signed up and bringing the ALMS GT2 car.

We will be going there after Corvettes of Carlisle for the two day track event. August 31/sept 1

It is only 38 miles from my home town and I was going to visit Geneva anyway. When i heard that there was a track event, we thought we would bring our ALMS Corvette GT2 car up for a shake down before Petit Lemans.

I figured it would be a good chance to get together with all the Corvette guys (John Shields be there, don't be square) from the North east.

So who is going?

Thanks

Lou Gigliotti

I will be there...are you bringing the toy store?

Trackmasters puts on a great event. There is one student group + open trackers. Open Trackers get about 4.5 hrs track time / day.

I will go simply to see the GT2 car up close and in person... talk about a humbling experience for a new guy in an old Vette

Thanks guys,

No co driver yet.

Need to find a funded driver and in this economy that is not easy.

But someone always comes through.

thanks

I was trying to make it up to WG this year, and this may be the perfect event!! Working the calendar, but I think I am a go!! Can't wait to see how my LG coilovers work at WG... last time I was there in 2006 with the stock suspension, I was bottoming out so bad in turn one, I wore 2" off the left side of the air dam. Now I just need those stoptechs and I will be tearing that place apart.

Hey Lou - FYI.

While watching Fox's F1 coverage, a BMW add came up. In the first few seconds, your hauler and logo are visible in the background.

Don't suppose they bothered to pay a "License Fee" for that priviledge? :P

No payment but they have run that ad so much, we should pay them !!

We remembered when they were filming that, we just didn't know that our logo would be in the ad.

Works for me.
