Default NCM Thunderhill July 30 & 31

A few of us from the beautiful Northwest are going. Like to hear from the rest of the Vette world who will be there.

Joy_of_6,

Is there any way to tell how many people are signed up for this event? Is it Corvette only?
Thanks.

No this is the only way to find out who's going. It is a Vette only event. And you need to have a FRC or Coupe. They don't allow convertibles unless they have a roll bar in them.

Do you have a link? Or an forum acceptable way of me finding out about this trackday?

I searched for "NCM Thunderhill July 30" on Google. It takes you to the National Covette Museum website.

Talking at a HOD event today and all I want to say is that the end of the month event
at TH for the NCM is lightly subscribed. It seems the combination of a track event with
things that are normally done at non-track events isn't drawing in the track regulars from
the local area. I know when I went to the NCM event at Spring Mtn in the Fall of '07,
it was a great time to get to know folks from outside the area. As of right now, anyone
who attends is going to get lots of very open track time.

I want to make this event, but will be down in Carmel for the week. My uncle has a bunch of rare corvette collectors and a new ZR1. I told him about the event and if he decides to go I will probably sign up for one day. I am surprised its not sold out since its a pretty unique event.

Wish it would have been a different weekend . I'll be in Portland for the Rose City event and their Monday track day at PIR.

Thunderhill has been on my "to do" list for some time. From what I have heard it sounds like a whole lot of fun.

Will anyone be posting videos??

I guess I need to look at the CF more often. Yep, I was there for the double national. Friday the car would'nt turn, so I made changes to the setup which mostly fixed the problem, and then somehow I manage to blow both starts which I never do, so I had a great time working my way back up thought the field.

What time do you expect to be there on WED?

Tom

If there is stil room, I will try top recruit a few beginners from my area. I have about 3 people in my area that may be interested. I also contacted one of my students from the NCM event at Spring Mountain in 2007 and he has since signed up.
