Default SCCA DC ProSolo in car videos

I didn't see a thread for this yet so I'll make one. Here are some in car vids taken with my new HD cam. I ended up 5th out of 13th in Super Stock.

Kind of a short course though!

Right around 30 seconds on both sides for super stock. That's about normal for the DC Pro Solo events.

It's a Kodak zx1. I just got it, this was my first event with it and I love it.

I just bought a cheap wide angle lens for $20 that I hope will allow you to see more of my hands while I'm driving.

Wow, that little thing captured amazing video. Does it have a tripod mounting spot?

Thanks for posting the vids. I ran in the next heat in my Mustang, in ESP.

The left side was tough. Never did get it.

I didn't either. I think my line through the crossover was too tight, so I had to lift and steer right to get through...I wanted to set up for that properly so I could straight line it better, but I never accomplished it properly.

Nice videos... I might have to pick up one of those. The camera I have now doesn't give nearly as good an image.

Only the morning runs in the wet, unfortunately. The camera batteries had gone flat by the time we went to do afternoon runs. I think I mistakenly left it on after the AM session.

Wow that camera does do a nice job.

How long do the batteries last? Were you able to do the entire event on one set/charge?

I'd be in luck if Chase Cam sold something like that.

It comes with rechargable AA batteries. I charged them Saturday night just in case.

I've never done a pro, but I thought the drag-race start was a lot longer than that.

Craig,

I wish it was longer, and I didn't have to use the e-brake, and that I didn't suck.....

Oh well, going to see if I can get revenge in Toledo.....may drag out my daughter, and let her pound on my Vette as my co-driver....(now I will have someone to check my pressures----as Hector is enjoying the FL sushine this year, and not the thrill of riding in my pick-up truck for days on end, in the middle of nowhere.)

They usually are. This one was kind of a bummer.
