danny,

This is the exact same wing that we use on our GT2 ALMS LeMans car.
Even with the front 4" splitter with front tunnels and difusers this wing keeps up with the down force and balance.

And the important thing compared to your wing is that our wing provides linear down force as the speed increases.

that allows you to tune your car for 70 mph corners and the 120 mph corners have the same aero balance.

Thanks

Talk to you later.

Do you all have any speed/lift/drag numbers for that wing? I'd love to see them seeing as I'm now in the market for a wing

Hi,

We don't have any numbers for this wing but it was developed by GM specifically for Road Racing. You won't find a better wing anywhere.

The best part about this wing is that the down force is linear so the balance of the aero stays consistent as the speed increases.

We paid $5400 for our first wing that came on our GT2 car and we used it for the pattern for all our wings now.

We now have our Carbon supplier build these for us in quantity so the price is now livable.

At any rate, the good part about this wing is that it was built for the exact air flow of the Corvette. It will work on any car with a roof because that is the way the air flows over the roof.

I am not sure why the guys added for the "Wicker" since i told them to include it as part of the wing price.

So the $1995 does include the wicker (Gurney lip).

Thanks

Lou G

LG: What are the dimensions of the wing?

I think it is 12" X 66" wide.

I suggest keeping the wing mounted so the top of the wing is below the top of the roof, so the drag frontal area is not increased. Plus the wing matches the air flow over the roof, so if you raise it above the roof line you will increase drag while not increasing down force much.

And depending on your rules, it works best if it moved back to the rear to the max of the car perimeter to increase the leverage.

Most rules match this location unless they are trying to limit the effectiveness of the wing.

Ill have to dig through the aero data from the wind tunnel. Its impressive given the little amount of drag it offers.
