Default Hooiser A6 and HPDE question

I'm ready to spring for a new set of autocross tires and have all but decided on the Hoosier A6 in 275/40-17. I've looked through a lot of search results for answers about using the A6 for HPDE's and I'm still not sure from reading everything if the A6 would work for an occasional track day.

Right now, I may only have a chance to do one HPDE (Portland International Raceway) and if I get new A6's for autocross, they will have two events on them (probably a total of 12 runs) by the time the track day comes up.

Would they work for something like 1 or 2 HPDE events where I would not be pushing the car real hard? My street tires (Kumho Ecsta MX's) are to the point where they get pretty greasy once they get hot, but I need autocross tires more than I need street tires.

Use them UP for auto-x first, then HPDEs.

I use Hoosier A6s exclusively for HPDEs in my C6Z. I drive real HARD and they last me 6 to 8 days at the track, so you should be OK for just a few HPDEs per year.

You won't find a stickier tire for Corvettes.

They are perfect for either and I doubt seriously you'll have any issues. They are the fastest DOT tire on the market right now...and they wear well for an auto-X compound.
