Default Social Networking sites-Facebook/Twitter

So many of your seem like friends, even though I've never met most of you. Anyway, now that Facebook has usernames, I figured I'd put it out there.

Personally, I think posting on Twitter is a waste of time unless you are a journalist/politician, but I do have an account. I used it for Amber Alerts, but even that got hacked a few months back.

Anyway, feel free to become my "friend". Remember that in many cases I don't know your real name, so a note attached with your CF name might help remember things. On facebook, I post a lot of boring family stuff, but I do post about events and things.

Anyway, just another way to keep in touch. There is also a Corvette Forum page on facebook.......have no idea if it is actually linked to the real Corvette Forum (although I see some familiar faces there).

btw, I know this is off topic, but it's not far enough off topic that I wanted to post in the real "off topic" section

My wife set me up with a facebook account. I'm on it only when I should be mowing the lawn, or hay field or dandelion breeding ground. I had a guy stop over last week and ask if he could harvest the dandelions to make wine. It's hard to be a racer and a home owner in the spring time. To have it cut by a pro, is the same price as a set of hossiers every two monthes.

Ok I have to go get the lawn mowed

Just sent you one David. I am Eric Winsor from St. Paul MN on facebook. Here's a link for anyone that wants to send a friend request. I post a ton of Corvette and racing photos on there. I also have tons of pictures from Iraq since I am still deployed.

I'm not a Twitter fan either -but I do like following the (on track) posts of my fellow Corvetteforum friends on Facebook - looks like quite a few are FB members

I also like the fact the Facebook makes an AWESOME ROLODEX! I may never need to actually talk to many of my old friends, BUT if I ever do, it comes in very handy!
