1. Both Luc Alphand’s Corvette C6.Rs suffered from a rollcage problem. The cars were absent for most of this testing session with only 21 (#72) and 23 (#73) laps completed just 30 minutes before the end of the session.
“We lost around fifty minutes at the beginning of the session because the roll cages had been mounted incorrectly on the two cars. So it was impossible for the teams to drive on the dry track. Hopefully everyone should have done all their qualifying laps by midnight.”
2. LM GT1: Aston outshone by the Vettes
After the first 2 hours of the free practice session, the two cars of Corvette Racing lead the LM P1 category, the best is the #63 car with a timed lap of 3.57.876. It's brother car recorded a time of 3.59.586 but the Aston Martin #66 hasn’t run under 4 minutes a lap so far. The Alphand Aventures team probably decided to only do limited practice due to the weather with the #72 cars fastest lap being 7.54.860, and the #73 car only completing one lap so far.
*********** I wonder who put the C6R Rollcages in wrong????

It sounds to me like someone in tech is being a king for the day. It would be pretty hard for the boys at P and M to get this wrong. Unless the B team is building customer cars.
