Default ZO6 engine failure at Autobahn?

I heard a rumor that a Yellow 07 ZO6 lost it's engine at the Joliet Autobahn. Does anybody know if that's true? I was just curious.

I know of a VR 08Z that lost an engine there on May 10th, as it was mine.

I'm sorry to hear that. Was it replaced under warranty?

No, the car was slightly modded. It would have been nice to get some of my tax dollars back though.

I have the ARE stage 2, although my failure was not an oiling issue.

Yep very true. Owner had just purchased the car over the winter. He had stepped up from a Lotus Elise or Exige I believe.

He was turning some serious times too. Too bad.
