Pfadt coil overs...Standard preload?
Picked up set of Pfadts from a forum member but i have an issue. Theve been taken apart so i need to reinstall the springs and reset the preload. Anybody have the dimensions for the springs at there proper height? Thanks.

Could you follow up on this I am upgrading my coilovers to the the delrin top mounts and I do not think they have a preload on them now. That is when they are not under load, the coil is under mininmal compression. The top nut which holds the unit together does get torqued to 14lbs that is the only spec I know of.

coil overs
The # im looking for would be the installed spring height. This would be the either the length of the spring or the distance between the upper and lower spring perches with the locking rings in there "as delivered" position from Pfadt.

Coil overs
Got this is from Jordan at Pfadt this morning...The best way to set pre-load is to install the coil overs on the car. Once
this is done loosen the lock ring below the spring until you can move the
spring up and down on the shock. Once this has been accomplished bring the
lock ring below the spring up until the spring doesn't move up and down.
Give it one full turn and lock it down. Thanks!
