Default Who makes a C5 passenger seat fire extinguisher bracket?

NCCC rules this year require all Group II and higher cars to have a metal bracket mounted extinguisher....
I know of the Vetteworks bracket.
Are there others?
If so contact details please.

I have a Brey-Krause extinguisher mount. Google and you'll find several sources.

I have the same one but have it attached to my seat... my legs are nowhere near it. If its in front of the passenger seat and you need it, think you could get it quickly? My thoughts are if somethings on fire in my car...I'm unlocking the harness, grabbing it and getting the hell out of there.

R-D Racing makes a nice one that can be used under either seat and is a submarine belt rod for 5 or 6 point harness. No drilling necessary to install in stock seats. Bracket plate can be drilled for most any extinguisher bracket. I unfortunately have tested it at PIR and saved the car with it. The cheapest insurance you'll ever buy.

Most of the mounts accept the mounting holes of the Amerex Firex bracket ... and they sell a bracket with two straps ...

Ours is similar, however the tab that goes forward is longer allowing the seat to travel further forward, it also has a slot in it making it useful for a single sub strap mount s well.

Home Depot, some 1-1 1/2 inch medel stock, bend, drill two holes, couple hose claps for the bracket and your done. Mine cost $4.85 & about 1/2 hour been in Katrina for 4 years now.

Bingo. PITA not being able to adjust the seat...I have one as pictured above in the Z06 I just bought. Can't even move the seat. I'll be modifying it.

As far as a sub-belt bracket, I fear that's WAY too far forward for a proper sub bracket. Last system I installed I believe called for the sub belt mounts to be equal to/or inside(towards the center of the body) the chest line.

You are correct, for proper sub belt location, you would need to cut a hole in your seat and I haven't met a Corvette guy yet that finds that acceptable, so we just offer a compromised solution for those with 5 point belts. For anyone looking to purchase belts, we strongly recommend 6 point harnesses (not 5 point).
