Default Race Seats

I'm looking for a seat that fits in a 2006 Z51 coupe. The upper harness strap slots have to be at least 30 in. up from the seat bottom I have had no luck with corbeu. is there a seat out there that fits in the C6 and is for a tall driver.

I have a beautiful Racetech 4009WT (W = wide, T = tall) for sale. I bought it to put in my '07 Z51 put never got around to it. This seat is new and never been used. It was a special order, as Racetech only carries the 4009W. I paid $1450 for it, and will sell it for $1000 shipped to lower 48.

I'm 6' 4 1/2" and the shoulder harness cutouts fit perfectly.

I also have a Hardbar seat rail setup for this seat, also for sale.

PM if interested.

Here's a link to a regular size Racetech 4009 seat: http://www.motorsportimage.com/pc-40...race-seat.aspx

A very comfortable seat.

Hey Rob
No the A4 cut outs are to low. I saw that you were asking about the 18 D-RR Kirkey they look good. What do you think about them?

I have had really great luck with the Sparco Evo series of seats. The Evo and Evo 2 fit very nicely. I have received mixed results from the Evo 2 Plus for fitment. It seems that some have no problems and others have to do some trimming.

Here is the seat dimension guide for Sparco seats:

The Evo's harness holes are too low. You sat in those at Summit Point. I think you need to look at the Kirkey 18"

Or an Ultrashield. With an aluminum seat you can cut the harness holes larger and customize it to fit you. You can also get a custom seat from both of these manufacturers. You are not stuck with what the manufacturer has in stock.

Default Corbeau FX1 Pro

I looked at recaro, sparco and Corbeau seats... I took a ton of measurements on so many of these seats because I had to be concerned about my fitting it in with my existing 6pt roll bar. I found almost all the slots for harnesses were about 24" off the top of the seat. I'm a tad over 6'1 and mine line up fine. I dont know where the kirkey slots are but 30" is really high up.

I just took the padded seatbottom out to measure and its now 26 1/2" to the slots.

Um, the Racetech tall seats have appropriately positioned seat belt pass-throughs. The Ractech 4009WT is similar to Kirkey seats except it is made of fiberglass.
