Default Interest in a Traqmate group buy?

Trying to get a feel what the interest in a traqmate group purchase would be. Check out www.traqmate.com. 15% discount on any system or accessories.

Anybody that already has one your comments would be appreciated, good or bad!

For those of you not familiar with Traqmate Systems, they are high performance vehicle data acquisition systems. They combine GPS with accelerometers to measure and record position of the vehicle, as well as forces acting on the vehicle over time. Basically, it allows you to record runs, and play them back on your PC at a later time, complete with actual path traveled, and data such as gforce and velocity at any given point on the track. This allows you to compare runs before and after changes are made, with other drivers, over time, etc.

What makes the Traqmate system really cool is that it is completely portable. You put it in your car, plug it into the cig lighter, attach the magnetic GPS antenna, and start driving. No need two own multiple systems for multiple cars. You can even create virtual races...the cars don't need to be on the track at the same time.

More information can be found here www.traqmate.com

For less than $1000, you can get much of the same information that we use to tweak and tune the race car.

Now for the good part...the group buy...

If I can get orders for 10 Traqmate systems (complete or basic), I can sell them for 15% below retail, and throw in shipping in the lower 48 states. That puts the price of the Traqmate basic $595 shipped, and the Traqmate Complete (basic plus in car display unit...shows lap times, etc.), $850 shipped. I can also extend the same 15% discount to all Traqmate accessories, if ordered at the same time.

All you need to reserve your spot is to pay a $100 deposit. Balance will be due when I ship the unit to you.

I will place the order as soon as I have 10 systems ordered. The sooner we get 10, the sooner you get your systems.

Call Toby at the shop 1-847-634-7534 if you are interested. We take visa, mc, discover, American Express, and of course, cash

Lets get this done
Todd

A new feature in the latest edition of the Traqmate software is the horspower and torque information it develops. That just became available in the past few months and it's interesting to see how the HP compares at different times of the year at the same place on track.

Guys, let me know if I can help out with anything. We're a Traqmate dealer and I'm sure I could get with them about pulling the % down even more. We'll keep getting a head count and then if you guys would like, I'll check and see if it would be worthwhile.

I might be interested, depends on how reasonably priced of a trailer i find and what's left over in the budget.

I think a group buy on traqmate complete was happening on rennlist with a minimum of ten people needed and the units were going at $825 shipped. Again - this is just what i vaguely remember so it's certainly not verified fact.
